Here are some things you should do when it comes to poisons around your house.
- Help put all the poisons up high so that little brothers or sisters or other small children won’t get them.
- Don’t show them how to open the locks on the cabinets. Locks keep them safe from the cleaners under the sink.
- Remind parents not to put dangerous things in drinking bottles like water bottles, or soda bottles. That confuses little kids.
- Ask your parents to put motor oil, gasoline, paint and other dangerous things that are in your garage, barn or shed up high so kids can’t reach them.
